911 Services

CAROLINAS FIRE PAGE can assist 911 Centers and Emergency Managers in delivering time-critical weather messages to field crews and administrative staff without any 911 Center intervention.

The CFP system has the capability to deliver severe weather alert feeds from the National Weather Service to the wireless devices of responders. Messages are sent in short format to wireless devices. Email accounts can receive the more verbose version of alerts.

In times of severe weather, 911 Centers are usually overwhelmed answering phones and handling radio traffic. CFP can provide a tested connection to responders so field personnel can be notified of changing weather conditions instantly.
