Green Valley Volunteer Fire Department, Avery County - ENGINE 5301
AVERY COUNTY - 2004 Peterbilt/4 Guys pumper/tanker. Cummins ISC 350 hp diesel through an Allison 3000 EVS transmission. 40,600 GVW. Hale QFlo 1250 gpm single stage with (2) 1.75" crosslays, one left 2.5", one right 3" with LDH adapter, (2) rear 2.5" and a 3" deck gun discharge. 1250 gallon UPF poly tank. 4" tank to pump line, 2.5" pump to tank fill line and a 3" rear direct fill valve. Stainless steel electrically operated 10" Newton dump valve with 34" extension, controlled from the rear or the cab. (2) air operated side 8" round dump valves controlled from the cab.

     The 4 Guys body is all 12 gauge stainless steel with a 20 year body warranty. Compartment in the hose bed for a 2100 gallon folding tank, hard sleeve suction hoses, pike poles and a folding ladder are stored under the tee of the tank. Onan 7.5 kw diesel generator, two 1500 watt Fire Research Focus scene lights with push up poles and two generator outlets, one each side. Six 12 volt scene lights (2 each side, 2 rear), a Kussmaul Pump Plus system with auto eject, Insta-chains with 12 strands, three Fire Research Tank Vision water level gauges, eight large compartments and four SCBA compartments.
