NEWTON -
This stainless steel custom pumper
was recently delivered to the Newton, NC Fire Department. The unit is
powered by a Detroit Diesel 475 Hp engine, and is equipped with a Hale
Qmax 1500 gpm pump, 750-gallon water tank, Akron 3126 By-Pass foam
system, and 20-gallon foam tank. Other accessories on this apparatus
include On-Spot tire chains, a Ramsey portable winch, EMS compartment in
the cab, and LED emergency lighting.
