Town of Highlands Fire and Rescue, Macon County
HIGHLANDS -
The Town Of Highlands Fire & Rescue took delivery of this EVI 10-Foot "Non Walk In" rescue. The all aluminum body is mounted on a 4 X 4 Ford F-550 Super Cab chassis. The modular body houses (7) compartments accessed through Robinson roll-up doors. The compartments house a variety of trays and shelves to store the department's equipment. A special slide-out/removable speedy dry hopper was custom designed to store and dispense the absorbent material. A Honda 6.5KW Honda generator powers the 120V system, which includes (3) 120V/15A receptacles, (2) front mounted 500 watt telescopic FRC Focus lights, (2) 500 watt tripod FRC Focus lights and an electric cord reel. A diamond plate roof mounted storage compartment contains (2) pike pole tubes, storage for (3) backboards and a stokes basket. Other features include: a Warn grille guard with a 12,000 lb. winch, Cast forewarn speakers, SCBA wheelwell compartments and a Code 3 strobe/halogen lighting package.
