CHARLOTTE - 2003 Spartan Gladiator Extreme Duty Smeal pumper. Four
similar units delivered July 21, 2003. Units feature Robinson painted
rollup doors, Onan generator. Units have new multiplexed wiring design
by VMux. Dual ladder racks with hard suction hoses: driver side contains
three section 40' ladder, curb side contains two section 28' and two
single section 14' ladders. First Charlotte engines with aluminum alloy
wheels. Cab has new Code 360 lightbar with dual deck intersection lights
by Code 3 PSE. Rugged cab interior. Back compartment contains through
the body tool storage. Units delivered include:
- Engine 23: 1500 gpm/750 tank
- Engine 36: 1500/750
- Eninge 5: 2000/500 (pictured)
- Engine 11: 1500/500
