High Point: Companies Respond to Various Fires

HIGH POINT - HPFD Engine 9 arrived for a fire (Top two photos, right) involving four vehicles and a repair garage on fire. The incident was located on Hickory Chapel Road.

     A fuel tank on one of the vehicles ruptured.

Units responding: E1 E7 E9 L12 S2 BC2

     On Super Bowl Sunday, companies responded to a well involved one and a half story house on Amos Street. (Third photo from the top, right).

     About eighteen firefighters with five units responded to the call just before ten o'clock.


     Crews also responded to a house fire at 2218 Chambers street. (Bottom photo, right) A twenty-two year-old mother died in the fire. A male was badly burned in the fire as well.
