Completion of Hazardous Materials Technician Course

KERNERSVILLE - Twenty-nine members of various departments completed a
92 hour Hazardous Materials Technician course on Friday, March 26,
2004.
Departments in attendance included High Point,
Kernersville, Charlotte, Concord, Winston-Salem and Guilford County
Haz-mat.
The class was held at the Kernersville FD Headquarters.
Instructors were from OSFM.
This course is just one step in the process of becoming
a Hazardous Materials Technician Level Certified. Additional classes
in Incident Command and Chemistry of Hazardous Materials are also
required.
