- A standardized format for listing information is now used making the lists easier to read and scan. See "Overview Information" on the lists for specific details.

- Direct links to major departments on-line.

- Fire Department Dispatch frequency information.

- More station numbering schemes and more addresses.

- Each county coded with the appropriate CFP Division number.

- Lists are "printer friendly" for those who would like to print out the information. The North Carolina list is approximately 51 pages, South Carolina is approximately 27 pages.
