CFP No Longer Offering Pagers
SPECIAL ATTENTION CURRENT CFP MEMBERS WHO OBTAINED THEIR PAGER FROM CFP:
CAROLINAS FIRE PAGE has decided to stop providing pagers and pager service to our customers directly. We will continue to provide our customers and clients alerts on emergency incidents from around North and South Carolina. We are only discontinuing the service of directly supplying our customers pagers.
All existing pager accounts with CFP can be converted to accounts with 1st Responder Wireless. CFP has provided your service these past years through our affiliation with 1st Responder Wireless (1RWN), formerly TAC-9 Paging. As a result, if you choose to maintain your current pager service, you will need to transfer your account to 1RWN.
By continuing your service with 1RWN, you can keep your existing pager and pager number and not experience any down-time. Be advised that your monthly rates may change.
To avoid disruption of your service, you will need to contact 1RWN before December 1, 2007. You may call them at 845-534-9700, email them at support@1RWN.com or visit them on the web at www.1RWN.com.
You can also choose to discontinue using the pager, and change your delivery options to another device or email account.
